Starting out with having to sneak out for work and ending with a work-life balance between family and working time without angering anyone.Holiday being, by definition, \u201cAn extended period of leisure and recreation, especially one spent away from home or in traveling\u201d (Oxford Dictionary), you can clearly wonder why you should include a work-life balance into your lifestyle. That sounds totally irrational. But in today\u2019s world of endless communication and technology, up to 59% of U.S. employees \u2014 and 54% of U.K. employees, check their work e-mails during holidays. (research by GFI)Why?Especially in a world where 95% of countries have mandatory paid holidays \u2014 the only exceptions being Liberia, the Marshal Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau, Sri Lanka, Tonga, and the US where no federal law is regulating this \u2014 financial factors are clearly not relevant reasons to work during this time.
