They are still trying to cheat people out of their hard earned money. Many scammers may be making promises of substantial earnings. A person looking for an opportunity to make some money may unwittingly become a victim of a scammer. It can happen any time, in a pandemic or during good times.While looking for a way to earn money, a woman (we will call her Mary) clicked on a link to check out something which sounded like a good opportunity. Mary immediately saw that the site was no longer available. The information said that the site had been taken down because of violations of their policy. The site was terminated for noncompliance to the rules. The notice, which came on the screen and said that the site was no longer active, went on to apologize if the person had reached the site through a spam email. It said that was not their policy.Receiving that type of notice when clicking on a site is definitely a good indication that this would not have been a desirable venture and would likely be a waste of time and money to look into it.
