ICO sales of $20 million THETA token were completed in January 2018 to accredited investors.According to Theta Labs, the project\u2019s network now supports smart contract capabilities, starting with block 8,411,427. As part of the update, changes were also made to the staking process. The asset staking threshold has been lowered to 1,000 THETA, starting from block 8,411,427, for both new nodes and additional staking of existing nodes.Other changes include an updated website with Protocol information, an updated block Explorer that provides smart contract data, and the Theta-js Javascript SDK developer kit.This update will not require existing token holders to take any actions or move tokens. No token replacement is taking place.Other significant improvements include the Google Chrome extension for Theta wallets.
