The Blockchain Revolution isn’t like a technical advancement. It’s more than the printing press or airplane. It’s more on par with the American or Russian Revolution. Might be even bigger than that. But let’s start with Revolution. What is it?Revolution is when the people change the structure of society because all attempts at reform have failed. Every single one. When people are neglected and stolen from, they rise up. Typical human nature. When people feel attacked, they attack right back. All revolutions have this spirit of anger in it. From the American. The French. Russian. And any other you can name. The people were pissed. But there’s a major problem with revolution…What comes next?A communist utopia? Bronies for politicians? Oligarchy? The revolution takes place and leaves an angry mob left to answer this question. Destroying something doesn’t make you smart enough to build a replacement. This is why most revolutions don’t end well.Nietzsche once wrote,“In individuals, insanity is rare; but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule.”The answer from this angry mob is not well-thought out. Forward thinking. Reasonable.No.The answer is an angry howl from the mouth of a headless beast. The Blockchain Revolution has a unique advantage though:Nothing has to be destroyed for this revolution to take place. People are free to opt in to the new system or not.We don’t have to murder bankers & burn down the FED.We just agree to use BTC instead. We don’t need to storm the Google HQ & destroy it.We just agree to use Brave instead. We don’t need to destroy Facebook & shut it down.We just need to use Ethereum to build a better one on the blockchain. From where I see things, there are 2 major challenges we face though.1. Knowing how to build these new systems2. Getting people to use these new systemsAnd these challenges are easily…
